Pat and Scott's graduation was today. After work I spent a half an hour trying to find an extra ticket so Kathryn could go. I found out, picked up Pat, and went to Kathryn's house. She didn't want to go, I got upset and guilted her, and then left to drop off Pat at school and then get Shaun. But then she called back and said she was going, so we got her too. We went to the highschool and there were absolutely no seats for us. We stood by the soundbooth guy who hated us until we found some chairs. We screamed real loud for Scott and started a "Pat" chant for Pat. Afterwards graduation, the three of us got pizza at Passarellos and food was thrown and Shaun pretended to be mad at Kathryn, who either pretended to be mad back or really was mad at us and wouldn't talk to us for the rest of the night after we dropped her off. I hope she really isn't mad at us. I feel bad we made her last night in Moorestown suck.
So anyway, Shaun and I decided to break into project graduation. So we drove there and really didn't expect to get in. And when we got to the Flyers Skate Zone, there were people at the front door. So we drove around the side and some kid was playing guitar in a van. So I roll down the window and say "Yo, get us inside" and he says "Okay" and lets us into the side door becuase he worked there. So we go in and people give us double takes and "WHAT ARE YOU DOING HERE"s. It was nice seeing people I haven't seen in a long time. Emily Weitzel walked up to me with a slack-jawed face and just stared before asking what we were doing there. I saw Anna Wilbur and Carly and Sasha (who was pretty mad we were there) and Lindsey and Rachel and all these other seniors I barely knew. Talked to a bunch I never talked to before. Shaun and I got there before Pat because his bus broke. When he got there he was like "You guys actually came-AW FOOD" and left us. We hung out there for a while. It was actually alot of fun. Last year I remember wishing that my real friends there, so it was realy great to be with them this year. We were really scared that teachers would through us out, but they didn't seem to care at all. In fact, alot of the students seem really pissed about us being there, hahaha. We stayed for the contests and stuff, and I got traded by Zack Feltoon and Oliver for a pair of cheap sunglasses from Mr Boris. So when it was all done, Shaun and I went home.
I'm really happy we did this. We probably would have done nothing all night. Nobody was impressed, but I did it for me, I did it to do something spontaneous and unexpected and fun for myself and Shaun, and I'm really proud we went through with it instead of going "maaan this will never work I don't wanna go". We're awesome.
