Last night, as predicted, was fucking awesome.
Kevin, Blair, Lauren and I all headed out for south Jersey at around six. It took alot longer than I thought to get there, so we were running a bit late. On the way to the Gibson House where the show was, I went to wrong direction down Rt 70. But I turned around and we were able to get there right before The Progress played. They didn't have their drummer so they played acoustic. I wish they played "Every Breath Is Gold" but it was still awesome. Lauren liked them alot and bought a t-shirt (the same shirt as me! Booo!). It was cool being there with my college friends and being able to see all my friends from home too. Shaun Kristal Shawn Bob Scott Pat Dave Tom Kathryn Liz Mike Howard and like a million other people were there too. Underwood Standard played next, then Templeton. Kevin really liked them. They put on a really good show and were really going crazy with the jumping and the moving, it was too bad you could barely hear the vocals. They were real fun though. Direction North played their last show after them. It was kinda sad because it was their last show and they kept messing up, but oh well. After them was Jena Berlin and they were AWESOME. SO AWESOME. Like 20 times better than I've ever seen them before. Kevin Blair and Lauren weren't that into them because of the screaming (they're not as loud on the demo) but I like them live so much better. I had an awesome time and their singer put the mic up to me a bunch so it was awesome. Really just lots of fun and I was hyped up the rest of the night because of it.
Aftewards, we went back to TCNJ and got Taco Bell, then hung out in Decker where Lauren and Blair fell asleep after 20 minutes. Then I came back here and just hung out till the power went out, so I just went to bed.
I've got this enormous 15 page paper due Tuesday (I could wait another week but if I do it this week I get 10 extra credit points, which I'll probably need) and it's such a pain in the ass.
