Let's take a look, real quick, at how crazy life is.

I am 20 years old, I'm a junior in college, I have not had a meaningful relationship in probably my entire life, and I am entirely dependant on my parents

My first girlfriend, Melanie, is 20 years old, and is engaged to be married and is having a kid.

It's just, I don't even know, mind boggling to think that people can be at the same place in their lives when they first meet, and then a few years later, be somewhere completely different. One of the last times I saw her she was single and was running into a pool cue. Now she's engaged and having a baby!

When she told me my jaw dropped and I just froze up. I didn't know how to react and I never thought about how I'd react.

But I was just really happy for her. I surprised myself. I actually think that I'm really okay with this and I'm genuinely happy for her.

Life is funny, isn't it?
