Last friday night Caroline and I hung out. Then we went to Verd and Debi's house and I got drunk. Saw a crucified mouse. Got into a staged fight with Debi and got dropped on my head. Awesome time.

Saturday I woke up early and took forever to get out of bed. I was really hung over. Then I got to the bathroom to take a shower, but just sat on the floor for like a half hour. I eventually get my shit together, becuase god damnit, I was going to see Alex Rubi and Against Me!, and I wasn't going to let some potential vomit stop me. So I drive all the way up to Rutgers and pick up Alex. He got Qdoba burritos for the ride there. Driving at 80 mph and eating a giant chicken burrito is an AWFUL idea. It was real good seeing Alex again. I missed that guy. We talked about shit during our 3 hour car ride to Delaware. I hate Mapquest sometimes. It's always awesome until the very end, when it ends you to the totally wrong way. So after talking about how awesome and nice Delaware was, we decided we hated Delaware because there's NO FUCKING STREET SIGNS.
But we eventually made it to the Harmony Grange to see Against Me! We missed The Soviets and Smoke or Fire and most of The Epoxies. What I saw of them, I was no into. I couldn't find a bathroom so I went behind the building to piss, but there really was nowhere to hide. My wang was just there, man. Not cool. So anyway, Against Me! takes forever to set up, but then they start playing "Pints of Guinness Make You Strong," and suddenly the 3 and a half hours of driving is all worth it. They played a really good mix of all three full lengths, so I was really happy. Alex had never listened to them before and he was into it, I think. They also played TSR which made me SO happy becuase that's the one song I really wanted to hear. So they finish up, and Alex and I start the long ride home. Overall, I drove 300 miles, 6 and a half hours, and used up a tank of gas, but it was definitely worth it to see Against Me!

Tuesday night we had a big holiday dinner here with some old friends. It was a really great time. I got super excited for it and was smiling like an idiot half the time. We got a twenty pound turkey from shoprite, lasagna, cranberry sauce, vegetables, mashed potatoes, garlic break, biscuits, and like 3 differert deserts. It ruled. Gina, Mike, Lauren, Meghan O, future roomate Meghan Bezio, and Jiggy came. It was so nice to see people. I ate so much I felt so sick, it was awesome. We have so many leftovers too. I love the smell of leftover turkey.

Today was the last day of classes. My last class was Gay and Lesbian Literature. I loved that class. The teacher has to be one of my absolute favorites. There was a really good discussion going on during class and I stayed late to keep listening. After it was done I told Dr. Bennett that I really enjoyed his class and shook his hand. I'm a fag, but whatever, he was awesome.
